so it was no surprise to me when I had to think of
content for the dreaded About page. See, I want
to impress you, to maybe have you hire me, or
to maybe just have you learn more about me. But
instead of being rational I just get clammy.
Height-wise, I really can't be sure--the last time I
measured that was years ago. Since then, it's
been approximate: "Oh, you're taller than she."
"Oh yeah, he's about your height." I like to laugh
and make jokes, but sometimes I think my brain
might be a little weirder than everyone else's.
Oh and my favorite type of pasta is rotelle,
which is a fancy way of saying wagon wheels.
If you're writing my biography, I'll give you some
essentials: I was born in New York City and then
downgraded to be raised in the perma-grey that is
Rochester, NY--ever-cloudy, -gloomy, and -"no, it's
not depression, it's lake effect." Stuck in the fast track
that is public high school with pushy suburban adult fig-
ures, I peaced out to attend Tufts University to double maj-
or in English and International Relations with a concentration
in global health, nutrition, and the environment and minor in
Arabic. If all goes according to The Plan, I'll graduate in May of
2013. And if you're writing my biography, just let me know first.
So now, I do a lot of things. I do some t-shirt designs, am
on a hyper-pink improv group, and am thriving in a
collegiate bubble where I can do 50 unrelated clubs
without consequence save never sleeping.
